A conference attendee  favorite in 2010,  W.E.A.L.T.H (Women and gender Equity and Access through Leadership and Training for careers in Higher Education) will continue in 2011.
The program is based on the curriculum for mentoring developed by NACAC (A Guide to Mentoring for College Admission Counseling Professionals) and has been adapted to serve all professionals within the arena of Enrollment Management as defined by the membership of GACRAO.  The W.E.A.L.T.H. program is designed to enable enrollment services professionals with the opportunity to connect with and learn from each other in order to promote professional development and personal success.

W.E.A.L.T.H participants are offered educational sessions, activities, training opportunities, and a mentoring framework focused on issues of diversity, professional access.

W.E.A.L.T.H. coordinates its efforts under the auspices of the president-elect for GACRAO as a program committee. The goals, membership appointment process, timelines for submission of sessions, procedures for the submission of sessions, and policies are identical to all other program committees.

Participants in the W.E.A.L.T.H. program will attend a pre-conference workshop on Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 12:30-3:30 p.m. The pre-conference workshop will explain the mentoring program, include networking sessions, match participants with mentors, and outline an optional year-long personal success journey. There will also be a concluding session during on Tuesday that will match mentors and mentees and set participants up with the needed information and materials to participate in the Personal Success Journey. The program costs $25 and covers snacks,  literature to assist with the personal success journey, and other program supplies.
