The GACRAO LISTSERV is an automatic mailing list server that is hosted through UGA which uses L-Soft technology and is available to members from active GACRAO member institutions. The LISTSERV is a beneficial member resource as it is a social network within our various computer networks that provides a system for us to share ideas and gain information on specific topics of interest regarding the various areas of enrollment services. In doing so, we must always remember to utilize listserv netiquette.
LISTSERV INSTRUCTIONS
You may leave the list at any time by sending a "SIGNOFF GACRAO" command to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.UGA.EDU.
For information about subscription options, send a "QUERY GACRAO" command to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.UGA.EDU.
Instructions to Join or Cancel or Change Membership to GACRAO List-serve:
<left side of browser screen> Under List Name: insert 'GACRAO' as the list name to subscribe/cancel/change<Go!>
Next Screen click on: Join or leave list (or change settings) (following screen comes up)
If you simply wish to leave the list, enter your email and your name and click the Leave the List button.
IF you wish to make changes to your account, such as your name, email address and subscription type, click on the link on the page that I have circle and marked "click here" IF you have not set up a listserv password you will have to do this first. IF you have a password already set up your info will appear in this screen. Once you have done this you are able to make any changes to your account for this particular list-serv (or any other list-serv you are subscribed). You may wish to change your subscription to a digest. You will then receive one daily email with all of the day’s activity on this listserv versus every individual email.
